Statement from
Sikh Dharma International and
the International Khalsa Council
As Sikhs, we believe in the equality and dignity of all human beings. Sikhs stand for truth, social justice and freedom for all.

Sikh Dharma International and the International Khalsa Council, a body of Sikh Ministers and leaders, stand united with all people of love and consciousness to speak out against the current US action of separation of families in enforcing immigration policy. We pray that our leaders will reverse this policy and strive to guide our country with compassion and kindness, upholding the core values of tolerance and hope that America stands for.

Blessings to All,

SS Gurujot Kaur Khalsa
Secretary General

Akal Security subcontracts with Albuquerque-based CSI Aviation which is the subject of a protest scheduled for today. More info about Akal and CSI follows.

Fight against Deportations: Hold CSI Aviation Accountable

JUNE 22

Valley Haven Park
3202 Manchester Ct NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107
Call for action and solidarity!

3:00-3:30PM~ Rally at Valley Haven Park with community speakers and
info tabling with organizations working against detentions and
deportations.
-Volunteering opportunities available

3:30-5:00PM~ March to deliver demands and hold a press release at CSI Aviation
-Office located at 3700 Rio Grande Blvd NW # 1, Albuquerque, NM 87107

Join us as we rally and march June 22 to hold CSI Aviation
accountable! Started by Allen E. Weh, a decorated colonel veteran and
supporter of the republican party, CSI Aviation is a private owned
business mainly staffed by top-ranking military. Allen E. Weh also
grants his family members positions within the company making the Weh
family as a whole benefit off of the backs of our relatives making
millions of off deportations. In 2010 Allen E. Weh ran for Governor of
NM on an anti-immigrant platform and wanted to bring SB-1070 to NM.
When confronted, CSI Aviation said they provided humanitarian services
for the U.S. government.

Between 2006 and 2010 DHS (Department of Homeland Security) granted
them over half a billion in contracts for deportation flights and for
deportation buses. June 30th marks the end of their contract with NM
ICE and their complicity in tearing families apart. Although their
contract is over they must be held accountable for their actions and
because they still have ongoing contracts with DHS through the U.S.

Obviously, the Sikh Dharma company isn’t responsible for the more controversial policies of its biggest client, the federal government, but it has proved happy to carry them out. For instance, Akal guards illegal immigrants on government-chartered flights from Tucson, Ariz., to Mexico City, working under the deportation contractor, CSI Aviation Services of Albuquerque.

CSI was founded by former New Mexico Republican Party Chairman Allen Weh. This year, Akal gave Weh $2,000 for his failed gubernatorial campaign.

More on CSI Aviation deprotation controversy in Albuquerque:

Federal databases show that over the past five years, CSI has received more than $383 million in contracts with ICE’s Detention Compliance and Removals office for air charter services. A 2014 Los Angeles Times story characterized CSI as the largest private contractor for ICE Air, with more than $560 million in related contracts since 2010.

The most hypocritical thing about this, IMO, is not the connection with Akal Security handling a portion of the deportation proceedings, but how members of Sikh Dharma International sent their own small children to "Lord of the Flies" barbaric boarding schools in India, to be spiritually, physically, sexually and psychologically abused. All under the loving guidance (orders) of Yogi Bhajan, who insisted that "distance therapy" was the best way to raise strong, non-neurotic children, uncontaminated by the moral decay in "America." Parents that didn't want to go along with this were shamed and shunned. Children that cried and sobbed at being separated from their parents were coldly ignored, if not outright shamed for having wrong feelings.
